ENdi Community Terms
Last updated: 28th October 2026
1. About these terms
These Community Terms govern your use of ENdi Community, the members-only peer support space in the ENdi app, provided by ENDI LTD, The Catalyst, Baird Lane, York, England, YO10 5GA, United Kingdom (“ENdi”, “we”). They add to the ENdi Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which still apply, including their sections on disclaimers, limitation of liability, termination and governing law. If they conflict, these Community Terms apply to Community. You must accept them before you can read or post, and we’ll ask you to accept again if they change.
2. Who can join
- You must be 18 or over and have an active ENdi Pro subscription. You confirm you’re 18 or over when you join.
- One person, one account. Don’t share your account or create accounts to get around a ban.
- We choose a handle (a Community name) for you when you join, so it never gives away who you are. You can ask for a different one until you find one you like. It’s the only thing other members see about you.
- You can change your handle once every 30 days. Your past posts and replies show your new handle, and your old handle becomes free for someone else to use. We may change handles for everyone, for example to keep members safe; we’ll tell you if we do.
- If your ENdi Pro subscription ends, you lose access to Community, but your posts stay up and you can still delete them.
3. Peer support, not medical advice
- Community is for sharing experiences. Posts come from members, not doctors, and aren’t medical advice. Always talk to a qualified healthcare professional about your care, and never ignore or delay professional advice because of something you read here.
- ENdi staff don’t monitor Community around the clock. Community is not a crisis service. If you’re in danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line now. You can find numbers for your country in the app under I Need Help.
4. Community rules
- Be kind and supportive.
- No bullying or harassment. No personal attacks, name-calling or targeting anyone.
- No hate or discrimination. No attacks on anyone’s identity, background or body.
- No selling or advertising. No ads, or links to products or services.
- Share your experience, not medical advice. No dangerous or false medical claims.
- Keep personal details private, yours and other people’s. For example full names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, social media or messaging app usernames, or photos or messages from private conversations. Don’t ask other members to talk or meet outside ENdi.
- Nothing illegal or unsafe. Including sexual content involving minors, threats of violence, or instructions for self-harm.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive members.
5. Your posts
- You own what you write. By posting, you give ENdi a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display and share your posts and replies with other Community members in the app, and to adjust their format (for example, shortening a preview) so they display properly. This license lasts while your content is in Community and ends when you or we delete it, except as described under “What we keep”.
- What you share is visible to other members. Other ENdi Pro members can read, reply to and report what you post. Think before sharing health details you’d want to keep private.
- You’re responsible for your posts. Only post things you have the right to share.
- Editing and deleting. You can edit or delete your posts and replies at any time. If a deleted post or reply has replies under it, it shows as “Deleted” so the conversation still makes sense; otherwise it’s removed.
6. Moderation
- Automatic checks. Before anything is posted, its text is checked by an automated moderation service (OpenAI). Only the text is sent: never your name, email or account details. Posts that clearly break the rules aren’t published. Some posts are held for review by our team, including posts and replies that seem to share contact details or links, or ask people to talk outside ENdi.
- Support, not punishment. If a post suggests you may be at risk, we may hold it, show you support options, and let our team know so they can review it.
- Reports. Members can report posts, replies and other members, including anyone asking to talk outside ENdi. Posts reported by several established members may be hidden automatically until our team reviews them.
- Our decisions. We may remove content, lock conversations, or limit or end anyone’s access to Community when we believe it’s needed to keep the space safe, including for things these terms don’t list.
- Warnings and bans. Breaking the rules usually leads to a warning and the content being removed. Warnings count for 6 months. A violation while you have 2 active warnings leads to a 30-day ban. A violation after you’ve served a 30-day ban leads to a permanent ban. Serious violations can lead to an immediate ban.
- Limits. To prevent spam there are daily limits on posts, replies, edits, reports and blocks.
- How fast we act. We review reports and act on content that breaks these terms within 24 hours.
- Appeals. If you think we got something wrong, email support@endiapp.com.
7. Reporting and blocking
You can report anything that breaks these terms. Reports are confidential: the person you report isn’t told who reported them. You can block a member so you don’t see their posts, and they can’t reply to yours.
8. Your privacy in Community
- Other members only ever see your handle, never your name, email or account details.
- When you delete your ENdi account, your Community posts and replies are blanked and shown as “Deleted”, and your handle is retired so no one else can use it.
- What we keep: previous versions of edited posts for up to 90 days; copies of reported content, kept for safety and moderation for up to 24 months (erased if you delete your account); records of moderation actions and warnings for up to 24 months.
- Notifications about replies are optional and never include the content of posts.
- You can save posts to read later. Only you can see what you’ve saved; the author isn’t told.
- See the Privacy Policy for how ENdi handles your data more generally.
9. Content from other members
Posts are written by members, not ENdi. We don’t check every post before it appears and don’t endorse what members say. To the extent the law allows, ENdi isn’t responsible for content posted by members or for any decision you make based on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
10. Changes and ending
We may update these Community Terms. If we make changes, we’ll ask you to accept the new version before you can keep using Community. You can stop using Community at any time. We may suspend or close Community, or your access to it, as described above.
